You Claim That You’re Different Than Your Competition… How So?

One thing you’re going to learn about us is that if you ask us a straightforward question we’re going to give you a straightforward—and honest—answer. The words that most of our clients use to describe us is “honest and straight forward. That’s the way my father raised me and that’s the way I am raising my son Eric.

I could sit here and give you some ridiculous platitude about how we’re the best window replacement company in Fort Worth, or that we have the best prices of any window replacement company in Dallas, or the best customer service of any window company in Kennedale, etc. but that’s just not our style. You deserve more than that.

There are, in my humble opinion, three key principals of our company that make us extraordinarily different that our completion.

First, we simply refuse to compromise on our quality. The reality is that a large portion of a window, door & siding installations occur “behind the walls.” You simply can’t see what level of quality installation was done or what type of quality hardware was used. Once the wall or trim goes up you are completely dependent on taking a contractors word for it. In this industry, it’s just too easy to hide shoddy work and to cut corners to pad profits.

We NEVER skimp on the materials or hardware. We use the absolute best hardware and materials in the market for your installation. For example, the caulking we use carries a 50-year warranty on it. Sure, it costs us a little more but we know that when we’re done with a job its done right… THE FIRST TIME.

Second, we created our own set of standards, protocols and procedures. Any deviation from our standards is grounds for immediate dismissal. Just how serious are we about our quality… we’ve been known to replace a window at our cost just because it was not installed properly. I don’t know of many window replacement companies in Dallas, or anywhere else for that matter, that hold themselves and others to these exacting standards.

Third, everything is in writing. I wish we still lived in the world that I grew up in… where a man’s word was his bond and all you needed to seal a deal was a handshake. Times sure have changed. It’s only logical that homeowners should be cynical. We go out of our way to ensure your piece of mind. From our Contractor Standards Guide, to our warranty, down to our estimate… everything is in writing. That way, you know EXACTLY what you are paying for. There is no ambiguity, games, gimmicks or gotchas.

Why Do Other Window Companies In Dallas Low Ball Their Estimates?

I hate to be the one that tells you this, but it isn’t just window companies in Dallas that low-ball their estimates. The reality is that there is always someone willing to work for a little less money and use inferior (cheaper) products. Of course, these same companies are the ones that are just as willing to cut corners and accept marginal work.

Here is the simple truth, they want your business. That means they will do or say almost anything to make sure they have the best chance of getting you to sign a contract and hand over a hefty deposit.

Their favorite sales tactic… low-ball the estimate. Here is the first warning flag… if one of the first questions a contractor asks you is “what’s your budget” you should proceed with caution. They are going to try and “massage” their estimate to meet or beat your budget.

After all, they know that they can very easily cut corners to pad profits later… like using a cheaper caulking, or using a two inch screw when the manufacture calls for a two and half inch screw, or using an unsafe amount of shims to get your window to fit instead of rebuilding the frame. And the list goes on.

Your best bet… ask a lot of questions and make sure you know EXACTLY what you are paying for.

Why Do You Talk So Much About “Quality Of Installation?”

Bottom Line: Even the best products in the world are going to fail if you don’t install them properly. What good does it do you to buy “Lifetime Windows” if the caulking they use is only going to last 5 years? After a couple of seasons of Texas weather, that caulking is going to fail faster than the Federal Government trying to balance the budget.

Or what if the manufacture calls for two and half inch screws to be used on any vinyl window used in Kennedale and your contractor decides to use a two inch screw instead? Did you know that not installing to the manufactures standards can result in you losing your warranty? Or worse, if damage is done to your home, your insurance company having a legal reason to deny your claim.

If you are going to spend your hard earned money on upgrading your windows or siding don’t you think they should be installed using the absolute best quality materials and hardware… WE DO.
